Route for Monk Walk in Bangkok on Saturday

 monkwalk_1

Over the last week, monks from Wat Phra Dhammakaya temple have been taking part in a mass  thudong pilgrimage through Nonthaburi and Thonburi. Today they crossed the Chao Phraya River on the Pinklao Bridge and passed near Khao San Road and Victory Monument. If you are in Bangkok this weekend it is certainly worth checking them out. It’s not every day that you see about 1,000 monks walking along the side of the road on flower petals.
