This is now the second of my three day trip to Phang Nga in Southern Thailand. It’s the rainy season at the moment and although it won’t normally rain every day it’s been quite wet for us. This province is one of the wettest with eight months of rain a year. Best time to come is over Christmas and New Year. Though for many, Boxing Day will always invoke bad memories. On the morning of 26th December 2004, the Khao Lak coastline in Phang Nga was devastated by a Tsunami and thousands of people lost their lives.
