This weekend I’m on a 3-day trip to Phang Nga province in Southern Thailand. It is located on the western side of the Malay Peninsula, and includes many islands in Phang Nga Bay. The most famous one is James Bond Island which was featured in the 1974 movie The Man with the Golden Gun. The following are the highlights that I tweeted during the first day.

If they are going to do a crackdown at a national park they should start with the vendors at James Bond island pic.twitter.com/OwCIWTDIFD— Richard Barrow in Thailand 🇹🇭 🇬🇧 (@RichardBarrow) September 13, 2014
I wonder how many people know the significance of James Bond Island & that it's featured in Man with the Golden Gun pic.twitter.com/3fRf6CDfav— Richard Barrow in Thailand 🇹🇭 🇬🇧 (@RichardBarrow) September 13, 2014
