Phuket Murder Suspect: Have you seen this man?
Thai police have released this artist sketch of the main suspect wanted in the murder of an Australian woman in Phuket last Wednesday. An award of 300,000 Baht was also announced. The sketch shows a Thai man of about 25-30 years of age, 175-182 cms high and of a slim build.
Police have also released this CCTV footage of the actual attack. You will see one man on the motorcycle grab for the bag of the Australian. Presumably he tries to use a knife to cut the strap which has happened a number of time before in Phuket. She struggles and refuses to give it to him. In the process she gets stabbed but somehow manages to walk away with her bag. What we don’t see is her collapsing a few steps later.
