New Floating Market in Bangkok to open on 30 June

Bangkok will soon have a new weekend tourist attraction with the opening of Kwan Riam Floating Market (ตลาดน้ำขวัญเรียม) on 30 June 2012. I don’t know much about it at the moment other than it is in a temple on Saen Saeb Canal. The nearest road is Seri Thai 60 in Ramkamhaeng. According to the poster you can make merit to monks every weekend who will row down the canal on boats. Not sure what time at the moment but I will most likely be going next weekend. Follow me on Twitter @RichardBarrow for latest information. I will also post pictures on www.ThaiTravelBlogs.com after I have visited.

UPDATE: I am told that the merit making by boat is from 7 a.m. every weekend. As soon as I have been I will post pictures on my travel blogs.
