Weekend trip to Khon Kaen and Udon Thani
Over the weekend I went on a trip to Northeastern Thailand. I visited two provinces, Khon Kaen and Udon Thani. The highlight was the Red Lotus Lake about an hour away from Udon Thnai airport. The following are the photos that I tweeted live during the trip.

Khon Kaen prides itself on being a smart city. One way it does this is with the city buses. You can download an app to view live updates of the nearest bus that includes details of driver & bus speed https://t.co/spSfvB6n7i pic.twitter.com/N8bvV3MtCZ

Lovely photos – we are based in KhonKaen when in Thailand, and it is a beautiful city. The airport is soon to undergo a revamp as well to enable it to deal with the increased number of daily flights.
I am going to visit the red lotus flower lake when we are back in June – this looks beautiful!
Chris
