This is a new Thai animation called Yak: The Giant King. It is expected to be released in Thai cinemas in October 2012. They have just uploaded a cute teaser to youtube.com. I am sure it will prove to be popular with Thai kids who have grown up on Disney cartoons.

“Why is the movie about a giant is called a yak?”
“No, honey. It’s pronounced ‘yuck’.”
“So…a giant is gross?”
*sigh* “Alright. A yaksa.”
“That’s what I thought. I just wanted to point out the Engrish issue there…”

Maybe they should just stick to “The Giant King” for the English version.
