River City Bangkok Film Club in June 2018
The popular River City Bangkok Film Club has announced its line-up for June 2018 with four new exciting movies of diverse styles and genres from four different countries. The movies this monthare from Germany, Denmark, Cambodia and Kazakhstan.
The Opening film, from Germany, ‘WELCOME TO GERMANY’ is a story about a Nigerian refugee changing the lives of a dysfunctional German family. The second film ‘WALK WITH ME’ from Denmark, is about a soldier’s tough rehabilitation process which becomes easier when he meets a ballerina dancer. The third film ‘THE LAST REEL’ from Cambodia, is about the country’s genocide. The Closing Film ‘MYN BALA’ from Kazakhstan, is about a leader who guides his people to independence. The film screenings are supported by the respective embassies, who will serve drinks & snacks after the movies. The Film Club takes place in the RCB forum on the second floor at River City Bangkok. Start time is at 4:00 pm. The movies are free but you are advised to reserve your seat in advance by filling in this online form.
