One of the best ways to explore the back streets of Bangkok is on a bicycle. If you are nervous about going alone then you can join one of the organized bike tours. This week I went on a bicycle trip with Grasshopper Adventures. They do short and long bicycle tours across Thailand and also in South East Asia. The tour I did was “Bangkok Canal Boat & Bike”. I love it how you get to experience two modes of transport to explore parts of Bangkok that wouldn’t be easy to find yourself. The following are the photos that I tweeted live during the tour.
Cycle tours with @GrasshopperAdv start at their office on Ratchadamnoen, around the corner from Khao San Rd. You can also rent bikes here.— Richard Barrow in Thailand 🇹🇭 🇬🇧 (@RichardBarrow) April 7, 2015
I’ve never seen this Buddha image before. It shows the Buddha in a coffin before his cremation with his disciple pic.twitter.com/nQneuaf1H8— Richard Barrow in Thailand 🇹🇭 🇬🇧 (@RichardBarrow) April 7, 2015

We were hoping to see the puppet show at the Artist’s House but it is cancelled this afternoon. Normally it’s at 2pm pic.twitter.com/q9XEviJlZB— Richard Barrow in Thailand 🇹🇭 🇬🇧 (@RichardBarrow) April 7, 2015
