Road Closures and Diversions During Bangkok Car Free Day 2013

Bangkok Car Free Day this year will be celebrated on Sunday 22nd September 2013. There will be a number of activities around Sanam Luang on this day which will involve road closure and also diversions.  The two roads that will be closed so that they can be Walking Streets are Na Phra Lan in front of the Grand Palace and Na Phra That along the Western side of Sanam Luang. These roads are marked in blue on the above map. The blue arrows are the route for the tour buses and they will drop off and pick up passengers opposite the City Pillar. The green arrows mark one way traffic along the Northern end of Na Phra That, turning right on Phra Chan, turning left on Maha Rat and left on Thai Wang. The roads will be closed from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m.
