The next Big Bite Bangkok is on 14 July 2013
“One bite is never enough,” will be the repeated refrain on July 14th from 11am-2pm as Bangkok’s Thai and Expat gourmands crowd into the parking lot of Asoke’s Maduzi Hotel for Big Bite Bangkok.
The Big Bite Bangkok market lures food-loving Bangkokians with free ‘big bites’ or bite-sized delicacies from each of the featured vendors. Sample from the city’s best-loved restaurateurs and small-batch artisans, who bank on their food being so palate pleasing you will not be able to resist buying a full-sized portion to take home.
The unique concept of Big Bite’s “feasting market” has caught the attention of food lovers who hungrily anticipate a central place to try the latest and greatest additions to Bangkok’s food scene. Past events have included tables from well-known restaurants such as Bo.lan and Quince, as well as up and coming chefs, newbie restaurateurs, and aspiring chefs at heart.
The 4th installment will boast many new faces from Bangkok’s food scene and is sponsored by Siam Winery’s Monsoon Valley Wines. Attendees will be able to sample their unique varieties of Thai wines, and the winery will also be on hand to suggest the best pairings with food.
The event is as good for the soul as it is for the stomach. In addition to helping small-scale food producers, guests will have a chance to give to charity. All proceeds donated at the door of the free event will go to volunteer organization In Search of Sanuk which provides support to at risk children and families.
