WEATHER FOR THAILAND for TODAY: The rather strong southwest monsoon prevails over the Andaman Sea, Thailand and the Gulf of Thailand, and the high pressure from China will extend to the upper Northeast of Thailand. Thundershowers with isolated gust are likely in the North and the Northeast while increasing rain and isolated heavy falls are expected in the western Central, the East and the South West Coast. During 11-14 June, the monsoon trough will across upper Thailand while the intense southwest monsoon remains. Torrential rain and heavy falls in many places are expected over the country, and the strong wind waves with 2-3 meters high are likely in the Andaman Sea and the upper Gulf.
