Instructions for Using Thai Toilets

These are a couple of notices I spotted in a restroom in Thailand. The first one is asking people not to squat on top of toilet seats. Obviously this is a problem as there were several of these notices including this poster. I haven’t seen it recently, but in the past I’ve seen dirty footprints on toilet seats.

This second one was also amusing as its detailed instructions on how to wash your hands. I thought this was obvious but apparently some people don’t know how. I guess I shouldn’t be surprised as I’ve often seen people walk out without even washing their hands let alone doing it properly. Even some restaurant staff.
