When I was driving around Australia I had to be very careful of kangaroos. Every day I passed corpses of kangaroos by the side of the road, so I tried to avoid driving at dawn and dusk. Luckily I never hit one as apparently they can do serious damage to the car. In Thailand I have never been concerned about being hit by wildlife. In Bangkok, where I do most of my driving, my main concern is not being hit by some of the crazy motorcycle drivers. But, apparently I also need to keep an eye open for buffaloes wandering onto the highway. This one was hit by a buffalo. The driver wasn’t seriously hurt but the buffalo was killed.
