Day 3 of Trip to Ratchaprasong

Since Thursday I've been staying in the Ratchaprasong area as a way to show my solidarity to the Thai people. For most of the time I just sat on a bench at the Erawan Shrine and only returned to my hotel to sleep. For the first time today, the shrine started to get a little crowded at times with more Chinese tourists visiting.

Kind of amazing how you see people unite in the face of tragedies. Sadly, it usually takes tragedies to bring out the best in people. But still, amazing!

Good on you Richard. Wish I could join you at the shrine, but I’m not in BKK. I’m with you in spirit however, and wish you a safe time in BKK.
