Ban Khun Samut Chin Cycle Ride
One of my favourite destinations in Samut Prakan is Ban Khun Samut Chin and the temple surrounded by the sea. This whole area just has shrimp, fish, crab and shellfish farms. There are no roads. I’ve been many times, but I always go by boat and then walk the last stretch. This time I decided to have a go at reaching this isolated community by bicycle. Not as easy as it sounds. The route was plotted with the help of satellite images. It is certainly not a “beginner’s route”. You have to be a bit adventurous to complete it. But the rewards are well worth it.

End of the road. From now on its shrimp farms. It's going to be a bit like a maze. Some routes will be a dead ends pic.twitter.com/LiDLurJxbu

From the satellite it looked like it was a straight ride on concrete walkway. But we have to keep walking the plank pic.twitter.com/ky1apf8TyV
