Pipit Banglamphu Street Art Festival

Over the last few weeks, ten streets artists of different styles, have showcased the uniqueness of seven communities in Phra Nakhon district of Bangkok through the art of mural paintings.  The opening ceremony of the street art festival will take place at Pipit Banglamphu museum on Friday 12th October 2018 from 9:00am to 11:00am. Then, between 1:00pm and 3:00pm there will be free tours of the museum and tram tours of the mural art. The artists are: Abi Original, Aniu Rattanawadee Sukapad, Bang Bang, Darkone Jartown Rga, Him HP, Jecks Bkk, Art by Karma, Komkrit Leatwisavakorn, Nongpop, and Sneakarette.

The communities include: Wat Sangveswitsayaram Community, the Trok Khian Niwat Kai Chae Community, the Baan Pan Tom Community, and the Wat Sam Phraya Community.

    I thank you for pointing out these hidden gems and providing a lovely navigable map. Sadly some of the murals are already fading and or are covered up by locals cards, rubbish etc. A pity. But a couple of the murals are still nice and worth a visit for a due hard street art hunter.
