On Saturday I decided to check out the new boat service along Phadung Krungkasem Canal in Bangkok. This goes from Hua Lamphong Pier to Thewet Market Pier via Phadung Krungkasem floating market. It used to be a shuttle boat service to the market from Bangkok Railway Station. Now it’s a daily service that goes nearly all the way along the canal. It finishes a short ten minute walk from the Chao Phraya River. Yesterday I started my journey at the train station and finished at Asiatique. Here are the photos that I tweeted live.

I got off the boat at Thonburi Railway Station Pier (N11). There's a van connection here to Klong Ladmayom and Taling Chan Floating markets pic.twitter.com/ZLOSpNkKwq— Richard Barrow in Thailand 🇹🇭 🇬🇧 (@RichardBarrow) September 24, 2016
