Operation Smile Thailand Hosts “Fight Night!” on 15 October 2015
Operation Smile will once again host “Fight Night!” white-collar boxing event on 15th October 2015 in the Naphalai Ballroom at the Dusit Thani Hotel Bangkok. The event raises funds and awareness for the charitable medical foundation. Attended by over 370 guests from Thailand’s leading business and social community, the evening is a Vegas-style party filled with big screens, bright lights and adrenaline–fuelled fun. The evening showcases four bouts, with contenders hailing from varied industries and organizations. In addition to the main event, attendees will enjoy a three course meal along with free-flow wine, beer, premium scotch and cocktails. Entertainment includes video clips of famous bouts in boxing history, casino games, a luxurious silent auction and valuable lucky draw raffle prizes.
Operation Smile is the largest volunteer-based children’s medical charity providing free cleft surgeries in the world, recognized for its work on behalf of children born with facial deformities, primarily cleft lip and cleft palates. In Thailand, Operation Smile has performed surgeries on over 9,000 children since 1997, with hopes of providing more than 1,000 surgeries in 2015. The team of dedicated medical volunteers gives children in remote areas of Thailand the opportunity to have what they want most, a chance to smile and lead a normal life.
