I'm staying two nights and three days at a Homestay at Amphawa Floating Market in Samut Songkhram. This is only a 90 minutes drive from Bangkok. I came this weekend because of pictures circulating on social media of a dried up river. People were canceling their trip because they thought the market would be closed. As I knew it was a tidal river, I decided to come and see for myself. Yes, it went quite low at one point, but only for an hour.
