This is now the third and last day of our trip to Chiang Rai. We fly back to Bangkok on Monday morning. It has been a great trip with a lot seen. The weather hasn’t been great but at least it didn’t rain all day. The message from Chiang Rai is clear, only one major tourist destination was affected by the earthquake and everything is operating as normal. Chiang Rai is far from Bangkok and tourism hasn’t been affected so much by the political situation.
