Baby Boy Born at the Subway Station in Bangkok

The MRTA Rescue team had an unexpected job yesterday when they were called to assist in the delivery of a baby. The mother had unexpectedly gone into labor next to the ticket office of MRT Sukhumwit in Bangkok. The MRTA Rescue team were first on the scene and they assisted the medics in the birth of a healthy baby boy. Both mother and son were said to be in good health. I wonder what they will name the baby. Thai nicknames can be as varied as Benz, Bank, Beer and even Mickey Mouse.  Maybe they will call this baby “Ticket”, “Subway” or maybe “MRT”. What do you think will be a good nickname for him?

I think “Train Wreck” will also be in the consideration.
