Thai Food Photo Competition on Social Media


As part of their “Amazing Thai Food” campaign, TAT is launching social media contests on Facebook and Instagram with dozens of prizes to be awarded to the winners. The contests invite visitors, travelers, and all Thai food lovers to participate by building up “Likes” on both Facebook and Instagram. TAT aims to increase awareness of amazing Thai food with this contest, and expects that Thai food lovers everywhere will be keen to participate, especially in the Instagram platform, since it requires taking pictures of Thai food that is ready to eat and then sharing them online.


Winners will get domestic, international flight tickets, hotel and spa gift vouchers worth thousands of dollars. All participants need to do is to share pictures of Thai food on their Facebook wall, or upload an image to Instagram with the 3 required hashtags, then start collecting and building up “Likes” on either platform. Winners are determined according to number of “Likes.” Both contests start 15 July 2013. The Instagram contest ends 15 August 2013, while the Facebook contest ends 30 August 2013. Each contest will award 28 prizes.

    Richard ..why is it you won’t label the very nice food pictures you publish so we can tell what we are looking at??? I’ve asked you several times to please do this.

      If you are talking about Facebook then that is because I’m uploading on bulk from my iPhone of the food I’m eating during big meals with groups of people. Not easy to label on the iPhone. Any good pics or dishes I will then write more about here or on one of my food blogs like or
