Help Vote Thai in the “Top 100 Language Lovers of 2013”

student

Compared to the time when I first came to Thailand 19 years ago, it is much easier these days to learn Thai in the comfort of your own home. And often for free too. To celebrate the wide range of language lovers out there, the guys at bab.la organize each year a poll to find the best foreign language resource. They have four categories:

In each category there are 100 nominations. You can vote for as many as you like but only one time. On their website there is a countdown clock showing how much time there is left to vote. As of this time there is 16 more days remaining to vote. According to a blog by Catherine Wentworth (see here), there are five nominations for the Thai language. It would be nice if you could help at least one of these win:

Please post in the comments if you think there are any other sources worth nominating in the future for learning Thai.

      T2E is a good resource but it doesn’t fall under the four sections: language learning blog, language professional blog, language twitter account, language Facebook account.

    For learning Thai via twitter:

    @thai_idioms
    @ReadThaiTweets

    For learning Thai blogs:

    Learn Thai with Mod

    There are others but those three are my favourites that didn’t make it into the public vote.

    Richard, thank you for getting the news out there. Thai might not be as popular to study as French, German, Italian, Chinese or Japanese, but it’s a beautiful language to learn.
