I have never knew that Malaysian tourists make up the 2nd largest group of tourists in Thailand. I guess most of them go to the southern town of Hatyai which explains why they aren’t that many of them in Bangkok.

Erm, I think the British are ahead of the Russians as far as reputation goes, Paul. Like well ahead.

That was in the past. Indeed the Brits have a reputation of being loud, drunk and with sunburn. But Russians are the new Brits and they are mainly rude, looking pissed off all the time (but then: would you smile if you were Russian?) plus thet are totally selfish and do not mingle with other guests (in a hotel buffet… I know, I know, do not go to such hotels, but still: in a hotel buffet those Russians will put you to the side and skip the line to put their plate completely full… and let’s hope the alcohol is not included, because they can drink more than the brits and that is not a compliment). Poor Thailand with so many Russians!

Does anyone dispute them? Statistics are provided by Immigration at various border checkpoints around Thailand.
