New Boat Service on Saen Saeb Canal

It’s always good to hear of alternatives to land transport in Bangkok. The BMA have been very active in bringing the canals back to Bangkok. For many it is too late as they were filled in to make way for roads. But others, clogged and polluted can be cleared and brought back to life. One of the more popular boat services in Bangkok is along the Saen Saeb Canal. This goes from Phan Fah Bridge and Pratunam to Wat Sri Bunruang. Now the service has been extended all the way to the district office in Minburi. This runs every day from 6 a.m. to 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.  This will be an easy way to get to the new Kwan Riam Floating Market in Minburi from Central Bangkok. I haven’t done this trip yet but will try and do soon.
