Playhouse Theater Cabaret at Asia Hotel in Bangkok
This Friday, the Paknam Web team have been invited to go and watch a Cabaret at the Playhouse Theatre at the Asia Hotel in Bangkok. I’ve been there before for the Calypso Cabaret show years ago, but they have now moved out to their own purpose built theatre at Asiatique. Taking their place at Asia Hotel is the Playhouse show. This ladyboy cabaret show has two performances per night at 8:15pm and 9:45pm. Tickets cost 1,200 Baht. The location is very convenient as it is in front of Ratchathewi Skytrain Station. The Siam Niramit is a hi-tech show and I think the tickets are much more costly too.
I think this ladyboy show at 1200 bahts is overpriced. The Pattaya’s Alcazar is just 600 and 800 baht, cheaper if you buy tickets from travel agents.
Please, at Bangkok what is the difference with the Siam Niramit? Which of the two shows is the best?
Siam Nirimit is a Thai culture show. This is a cabaret – like a Broadway show but with Thai ladyboys. Nothing alike.
