Watch Free Thai Dancing in Bangkok

I have started work on a new website called “Bangkok for Free”. It’s still in the research stage at the moment. I am basically looking for tourist attractions around Bangkok that are open for free for tourists. Yesterday I was at the Erawan Shrine near Ratchaprasong Intersection. It was very busy and there were many people in the queue to give a donation for these dancers to perform. That gave me the idea that I could add this to the website as somewhere to watch Thai dancing for free. If you have any other ideas of what could be included, other than museums, then please let me know.

The other free Thai dance would be in front of the Grand Erawan Shrine, of the Grand Hyatt Erawan Hotel, diagonally across from Central World. Same setup. Wish comes true, pay dancers, sit in front of dancers, hold a joss-stick, while they dance.

My apologies, for some reason, I thought it was referring to someplace else.

The other place which I saw Thai dancing for free was at Koh Kret. It was on a weekend, and it was quite near the other end, away from the Jetty if arriving from Pak Kret. This was probably half a year ago, so I don’t remember exactly where.

Any idea how to invite yourself to a traditional Thai Wedding?
        Thanx

If you know Thai people then you will get invited. However, don’t expect to be invited to the religious ceremony. Most people just go to the banquet.
