Red Shirts to Rally in Bangkok on 11 April and 19 May 2012

The Red Shirts will soon be back on the streets of Bangkok. No, not to protest. This time to remember the dead during the bloody crackdown two years ago. The first one is at Kok Wua intersection near the Democracy Monument. This will take place on 11th April 2012 (*) from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. I am told that Democrat MPs will also be present. The second bigger rally will take place at the Ratchaprasong Intersection in front of Central World. This will be on 19th May 2012 from 1 p.m. to 1  a.m..

(*) Please note, the date was originally set for 10th April 2012 but this was  changed to 11th Apri as it falls in the mourning period for the royal princess.
