The popular River City Bangkok Film Club returns in March with four new exciting movies of diverse styles and genres by four dynamic directors from four different countries. The award-winning movies are from Poland, Switzerland, Greece and Mexico. The film screenings are supported by the respective embassies, who will serve drinks & snacks after the screenings. The Film Club takes place in Room 201 (Second Floor), at River City Bangkok. Start time is at 4:00 pm. This is the first time the RCB Film Club is screening an animation film, but this moving and memorable tale about abandoned children and their longing for love, has moved critics and audiences around the world. In fact, the movie was nominated for an Academy Award in the category ‘Best Animated Feature Film’ in 2017.

They have varied adventures and many verbal bantering, where their personal angst and the social conflicts of Greece, provide much food for thought.

The Ambassador of the Embassy of Mexico, HE Jaime Nualart, will introduce the film. Drinks and Snacks will be served, and the Mexican Embassy will offer a chocolate surprise!
