Soft opening for the Sky Lane at Suvarnabhumi airport on 23 December 2017

Cycling enthusiasts will be happy to hear that the new and improved Sky Lane around Suvarnabhumi Airport will have its soft opening on Saturday 23rd December 2017. There will be an additional lane for slower cyclists and more rest stops and refreshment options. The car park is also bigger with a skybridge to the Sky Lane. However, during this testing period, there will be limited facilities. But first, you need to get one of the new SNAPs which is a radio frequency ID tag. This is free and obtainable at selected branches of Siam Commercial Bank until 21 December and at the Sky Lane until 23 December. It is advisable to get in advance if you can. The SNAPs are free. Just take your passport. You also need to give them your phone number. The Sky Lane will be open daily from 6am to 7pm.
