Police warn of fake donor accounts for Nepal

Thai police are warning people to be careful about who they donate money to for earthquake victims in Nepal. This follows the above image posted on the Facebook page of Siam Commercial Bank. They say that their logo and graphics were lifted by a con man who had set up a fake account to collect money for Nepal. I am sure there are more like this out there. If you want to donate money for Nepal, make sure you use an account or name that you are familiar with. The other day, I tweeted this graphic from the Bangkok Post that lists some ways of donating.
