Nok Air has always been innovative with technology. They were the first airline in Thailand to enable the Passbook on iOS 6. Indeed, their app for the iPhone has often been updated. You can use it to search for cheap flights, book flights, check-in and even see the live status of your flight. Now the Nok Air app has been updated again. This time to make it compatible with the Apple Watch. According to CEO Patee Sarasin, they are the first airline in Asia to do this.
Not much is known yet, but by the look of the screen shots posted by Patee Sarasin on his Instagram account, it looks like you will be reminded of flight details including destination and departure and arrival times. I am not sure if it has it, but it would be cool to have a countdown clock for boarding and also take off. I would also like to see the gate number and flight number on the watch face. This would save me keep getting out my boarding pass.
