Don’t Take Photos with Wild Animals

When tourists come to Thailand on holiday, quite often they like to have their picture taken with a wild animal. It seems a cute thing to do, to have a selfie taken with an exotic animal. However, it’s not like that for these creatures who have often been doped up to remain docile. You are not doing these animals any favors. And many of them are also on the endangered list.
Please reconsider having your picture taken with any chained animal while on holiday. If possible, also report it to the Tourist Police as this service is illegal in Thailand.

Does this notice have any connection with your trip to Phuket? 😉

For those in Phuket, the Tourist Police’s number is: 1155.

I don’t know if it is the same number everywhere.
