Watch Muay Thai for Free in Bangkok

Muay Thai, or Thai Kick Boxing, is a popular sport to watch for many tourists who come to Thailand. Unfortunately, most stadiums have a two price system which means that foreigners are forced to buy expensive ringside seats at several thousand Baht. But, there are some free alternatives. One is the Channel 7 stadium in Chatuchak district that has free matches on Sunday afternoons. Another is Fight Night which takes place on Wednesday nights in front of MBK. The free matches start at 6 p.m. and last for several hours. Details of the line-up can be found on their Facebook page. The nearest skytrain is BTS National Stadium.
