On Saturday I had a walking tour of the old quarter in Bangkok with Chin from Chili Paste Tour. Unlike other food tours I have done recently, this one was a private tour and so a bit more expensive. However, the day long tour was good value for money as you could go your own pace and make changes depending on your interests. Chin was really knowledgeable and taught me a number of new things. I also liked it how friendly she was with all the vendors along the way, chatting with them and even helping serve customers. A sustainable tour group is one that gives back to the communities they visit. The following are some of the highlights.
