Muay Thai Live – The Legend Lives – at Asiatique

For lovers of Muay Thai and anything Thai, you might be interested in a new show in Bangkok. It’s called “Muay Thai Live: The Legend Lives”. They describe it as a “spectacular live show featuring hyper-real Muay Thai fights, breathtaking stunts and wondrous special effects, with the riches of Thai history as its gorgeous backdrop”. I have my tickets already for tonight and will let you know later what I think. Not sure what to expect yet. If you have seen it already, then please post in the comments below.

Muay Thai Live is being performed at The Stage which is at Asiatique The Riverfront in Bangkok. There is one performance every day at 8pm. Tickets are 1,200 Baht for standard seats and 1,500 Baht for premium seats. You can buy them in advance at ThaiTicketMajor which is presently doing a “buy one get one free” deal. More information can be found on the official Facebook page of Muay Thai Live.

Top half of Silom is a rally site. The lower you can go down the road the better.

Muai Thai history highlights. The cast is composed mainly of Muay Thai pros who are regular stuntmen in action movies: breath taking acrobatics, realistic fighting with fantastic soundtrack and musical score. Devised, scripted and directed by film and theatre director Ekachai Uekrongtham (Beautiful Boxer, The Pleasure Factory)

Teenagers will love it. Maybe not suitable for really young kids due to the action scenes and sound effects.
