Beware of Fake 10 Baht Coins

This picture has been circulating on Facebook for the past week. It shows what is reported to be a fake 10 Baht coin (on the left) alongside the real version. It looks like they used a 2 Baht coin and inserted into a metal ring. The original poster said he got this as change when shopping at a market and didn’t notice the problem until the following day. The name of the market is not known. I’m not sure if this report is true, but it is worth taking this as a lesson to be careful to check the money that you are given as change. So many times I just put it straight in my pocket without checking.
