How hungry are you? Do you think you can eat this gigantic plate of “khao man gai” which contains two kilos of rice and one kilo of chicken? If you can do this by yourself within one hour then the owners of Sri Leung Pochana say that you don’t have to pay anything. If you fail, then the price is 500 Baht. The normal sized plate is 40 Baht, followed by Special at 50 Baht, Jumbo at 100 Baht and Giant at 500 Baht. According to their Facebook page, they also sell jumbo-sized bowls of noodles. The shop is near Big C Saphan Kwai at 1511/71-74 Soi Rongnang, Phaon Yothin Road in Bangkok. Nearest skytrain is BTS Saphan Kwai.  It is open from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. If you go and manage to eat the giant dish then let us know.

Thanks to Guru Magazine for tipping me off to this shop. A great magazine distributed for free in Friday’s Bangkok Post.
