Where to Celebrate Easter in Bangkok 2013
I often get emails from families coming on vacation to Thailand during the Easter holidays. Their number one question is always where can they celebrate Easter with their kids. They either want to know where to buy Easter eggs or where they can join a church service. Some people even ask if anything is closed in Bangkok during the Easter holidays. Thailand is a Buddhist nation and only a small minority are Christians. So, everything is open as normal. If you want to buy Easter eggs, your best bet are the supermarkets serving the expat community such as Foodland and Villa. Most of the international hotel chains will be organizing Easter activities and meals. What I will do is post information on this page as and when it comes in.
