New Book: 101 Things to do in Bangkok

A new eBook by Mark Wiens called “101 Things to do in Bangkok” has just been published for people who are looking for something different to do in Bangkok. It is aimed at both tourists and expats. It doesn’t matter if you have already been to Bangkok as this book is sure to have something that you didn’t know about before. I certainly found some new places while I have been browsing through this excellent e-book the last few days. You can download the colourful e-book as a PDF file and this then plays on your computer, e-readers or devices like iPad which is what I used.

Bangkok has so many things to see and do, it is sometimes difficult to decide which one to choose. The ideas in this book has been personally chosen and researched by Mark Wiens who is a master guru on everything to do with Bangkok. I have certainly learned a few things from his websites. The screenshots above are just two sample pages of what you will get in “101 Things to Do in Bangkok”. This includes:

  • 101 things to do in Bangkok
  • Google map plotted with all the attractions
  • Descriptions
  • Visiting information
  • Directions in English
  • Directions written in Thai script (extremely handy to show a taxi driver)
  • Every attraction includes a beautiful photograph

The e-book has not only been carefully researched, but it has also been expertly designed. One of the best looking e-books I have seen for Bangkok and Thailand. And I usually get them all. The price of this book is only $3.99 which I think is very reasonable. You can buy straight from Mark’s website. He also has another e-book out that I highly recommend called Eating Thai Food Guide.

bangkok shutdown might turn violent and also the possibility of an airport shutdown?

I cannot guarantee anything but I would say that the chances are low that in the present climate they will close the airports.Police have also said they will not stop them closing the intersections so no clashes with them next week.
