Big C launches Thailand’s first virtual shelf at ARL Phyathai Station

Big C Supercenter has teamed up up with Airport Rail Link to launch the first-ever virtual shelf in Thailand to take online shopping convenience to the next level. Big C Virtual Shelf is at Airport Rail Link’s Phyathai Station and is designed to increase convenience and flexibility of commuters’ daily shopping needs.

Big C Virtual Shelf is 27-meter long, opens 24 hours and displays over 500 items separated into 5 product categories namely consumables, household and personal care products, electronic appliances, clothing and home decorations, and promotional items. All virtual shelf items carry the same prices as in Big C stores and also have exclusive online-only promotions. The items will be changed monthly and customers will receive the exact same benefits as in-store purchases.

Airport Rail Link customers who commute through Phyathai Station can use their smart phones to scan QR codes on the virtual shelf, select from over 10,000 items of low-price products, and place order during their daily commutes without having to go to a Big C store. With over 1,500 baht purchase, Big C will provide free delivery and accept payment on delivery site. From now until year end, Big C will offer a 100 baht gift voucher to every customer who makes online purchase over 1,500 baht for the first time.
