The Most Expensive Toilets in Thailand

When Suvarnabhumi Airport first opened, there was a lot of criticism about the small and cramped toilets. And that is if you could find them as they hadn’t built many. Now that Don Mueang has just re-opened, they have decided to go the opposite direction. At the refurbished airport you will find two showcase rest rooms covering a spacious 110 square meters. The 15 million Baht toilets have all the latest technology such as sensor-controlled facilities. The rest rooms were sponsored by Siam Cement Group (SCG) and are expected to cost them a further 6 million Baht to maintain over the next three years. This probably makes them the most expensive toilets in Thailand.

Looks quite nice, wow! For another really nice rest room you can also check out the restrooms at Terminal 21 mall at Asoke. The toilets are equipped with electronic seats and a bidet.

I haven’t been to those toilets yet at Terminal 21, but judging by the pictures on the Internet, they could qualify as the most expensive. Certainly state of the art. If I get time I will check them out at the weekend.
