Only two weeks to go until the next show opening in Bangkok, said Chris Coles this afternoon on his Facebook page. Chris is a well known local artist in Bangkok whose distinctive style shows the nitty and gritty side of life in the city. I missed his last show and so I was really happy to hear that the next one is soon. Here are the details that he sent me:
“Hi, Richard: The next show is at FCCT Bangkok…the paintings will be up from October 16th thru November 14th…the Opening Night will be Friday, October 19th, 7pm…. I will be giving a talk about German Expressionism and the Bangkok Night as part of the Opening… Philip Cornwel-Smith will do a short intro with a few of his thoughts on the Bangkok Night as a source of inspiration for writers, artists, musicians, filmmakers in general… after my talk there will be a live jazz group performing… should be a great night……”
