Mounted Police on Sanam Luang

This is a picture of mounted police patroling Sanam Luang in front of the Grand Palace. According to the caption in the Bangkok Post, renovation work by the army has been completed and the BMA have now taken over control of the field again. Presumably the renovation work was due to the removal of the royal crematorium. The field was also used a few months back for the royal ploughing ceremony.
