Big Clean-up in Sukhothai after the Floods

Some good news from Sukhothai today. The floods have receded enough for them to start a big clean up and try to return to a normal life. Last week an eroded flood wall along the Yom River allowed water to rush into the city. Now that the river levels have gone down they have been able to pump out any remaining water from the city. The focus is now on other communities further downriver as the run-off heads for the Gulf of Thailand via Bangkok.
