Doraemon in a Thai Temple

Doraemon is a popular Japanese cartoon loved by just about all Thai children. As well as the cartoons there is a lot of merchandise like bags, towels and stationary. Then last year came news of a temple in Suphanburi that had pictures of Doraemon on their murals (see below). The temple is Wat Sampa Siw in Muang district of Suphanburi. As you can see from the examples below, Doraemon is not featured prominently and you have to look hard to find him. The artist hoped that it would encourage children to come to the temple to study the murals. Now comes news of another Doraemon feature at this same temple. You are probably already aware of the three monkeys “See no Evil, Hear no Evil and Speak no Evil”. Now comes Doraemon in the same poses.
