Thailand breaks Guinness World Record for largest photo mosaic

FrieslandCampina (Thailand) PCL celebrated World Milk Day 2012 with an exhibition called “Thais Drink Milk” that features the world’s largest photo mosaic. Certified by Guinness World Records, the “Thais Drink Milk” photo mosaic now on display at Central World Square in Bangkok is a collection of 154,560 individual photos of people drinking milk that covers 1,610 square meters. They are just some of the over 500,000 photos the Thai public submitted to the “Thais Drink Milk” campaign via www.thaidrinkmilk.com during the month of May 2012. The campaign is to encourage Thai people to drink milk by highlighting individuals posing in photos with a milk product, creating a high profile activation that will raise milk’s profile in Thailand and to the world community. The “Thais Drink Milk” photo mosaic, which beats the previous record of 137,200 photos covering 1,562.39 square meters in Japan, will be on display at Central World Square 1 to 3 June, 2012.
