It’s one thing seeing a small lizard in the toilets, but this would shock anyone

It’s often a common sight to see a small jing-jok lizard in the toilets. They shouldn’t be something to be feared or chased away as they do their duty of eating insects such as mosquitoes. But, I think anyone would be shocked to see this big monitor lizard in the toilet. Especially if they went in at night.

    I am sure most men’s toilets witness snakes but this beats all!!!

    It’s a monitor lizard trying to escape from a wrong turn. Normally they never enter houses so I suspect this photo is staged. Thais call them “hia” and hate them (as in “ai hia” … a serious insult). Hope it got away free!
