Which banner will Ministry of Culture use this year during Songkran?

It is nearly Songkran and the Thai Ministry of Culture will probably change the banner soon on their website [see here]. At the moment they are playing safe with a picture of H.M. The King. Last year they were using the top banner here on their website. It is a painting of the Songkran women according to Thai mythology. All very well until a youtube video clip emerged of some Thai girls dancing topless during Songkran celebrations on Silom Road. The Ministry was angry saying that this wasn’t Thai culture. But then, someone pointed out that the Ministry itself had topless women on their own website. Luckily I got a quick screenshot as less than an hour later they had changed the banner to something a bit more discreet. Let’s see what they use this year.
